Greater Houston Council of the Navy League and the Sons of the Republic of Texas
visit USS TEXAS SSN 775
Pearl Harbor, HI

Members of the Greater Houston Council of the Navy League, Sons of the Republic of Texas, Philanthropic, Corporate, and Hawaiian Navy League guests visited the USS TEXAS SSN 775 at Pearl Harbor, HI 04 December through 07 December 2010.

The visit included staying on Ford Island; a reception at the historic Navy Dive Tower; a Luau at Paradise Cove; a guided tour of the USS Parche SS 384 Memorial Park; a ride in the Pacific on USS TEXAS SSN 775; a boat tour of Pearl Harbor; a visit to the USS ARIZONA Memorial; a tour of the USS MISSOURI; a Christmas party with the Officers and Crew of TEXAS; attending the 69 Anniversary of the Remembrance of the Attack on Pearl Harbor and the Dedication of the New Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

The Greater Houston Council of the Navy League and Sons of the Republic of Texas are proud to support the efforts of the men and women in the sea services and thank the Officers and Crew of the USS TEXAS SSN 775 for making our visit one to be remembered for the ages.

 

Every once in a great while a photographer is lucky enough to capture a special moment.
